Plant Hire Company
Event
On the 18th May, a large plant company had a 1.5 ton mini digger stolen. The theft was reported to the monitoring station and the Mtrack was put into alarm.
Once in alarm a recovery team was dispatched to the area. It only took them 20 minutes to locate the mini digger which was located in a quarry. Alongside the digger was another one belonging to the same client that did not have Mtrack fitted that had been stolen 6 months before!
Only 1 hour after the Mtrack came into alarm, the police had attended the site and the plant company had both diggers back in their possession.
However, the story does not end there. On the 26th May, only a week later, the same company had another mini digger stolen. The theft was reported to the control room who put the unit into alarm.
Once again it only took the recovery team 20 minutes to locate the asset once they were in the area and 1 hour 40 minutes later the police had attended the site and the customer had the digger back in their possession.

This customer, for the cost of 2 Mtrack’s, recovered £ 26,000 (R 330, 000) of plant equipment in 1 week!
