At 17:35 on 14 January 2014, the client called the control room to report that three armed men had robbed their Umlazi store. The tracking unit was also taken in the robbery.
The unit was put into alarm at 17:37 and reported from Marian Heights area in Durban.
At 18:09 the recovery team reported to be about 10 minutes away from the area.
At 18:49 the team recovered the unit and a big bag full of cellphones in a house. There wasn’t anybody in the house.
The recovery team made a list of all the cellphones in the bag and took it to the Umlazi SAPS where the client met them. The client received the cellphones at 20:50 from the SAPS and the team stood down.
